Welcome to the Global Futures Design Lab, a unique course that blends traditional Filipino values with modern sustainable practices through the lens of fashion. This course is tailored for Filipino homeschoolers, encouraging them to explore sustainable fashion while fostering critical social, emotional, and collaborative skills.
Participants will journey through a four-step design thinking process, from ideation to presentation, using local problems and traditional materials to create innovative solutions. The course culminates in a Student Showcase, where students present their sustainable fashion projects, including apps and prototypes, celebrating both their creativity and cultural heritage.
